A diamond certification is like an identity card to help you understand the four principal characteristics or the 4C that make up the beauty and the value of the diamond.

One has to use a special lens in order to see the laser etching on the diamond. The etching consists of the certificate number and the logo of the laboratory that did the grading report. That allows you to be sure that your diamond is exactly the one mentioned in the report. Furthermore, each laboratory has a website where you can check all those informations.
